K. NeShele is native to Washington, DC. She's a graduate of Liberty University with a bachelor's degree in Elementary Education and the University of Lynchburg with a master's degree in Curriculum & Instruction.

As an only child, she discovered her love for writing at a young age. That childhood hobby developed into a lifelong passion for storytelling. 

Outside of writing, K enjoys reading and spending time with her family.

Though Permission is her debut novel, K. NeShele has published several short works on Wattpad, all of which are part of The Ride-or-Die Chronicles universe.
